Agreement Gives JIEC's SAP User Base Direct Access to Comprehensive Kofax Product Portfolio for Improved Process Automation
Irvine, CA, July 31, 2018 – Kofax®, a leading supplier of software to automate and digitally transform information intensive processes, today announced it has entered into a sales partnership agreement with JIEC Co., Ltd., to offer Kofax's robotic process automation (RPA) and digital transformation solutions to JIEC customers. This collaboration will accelerate the automation of business operation for users of SAP.
JIEC provides information systems to companies in industries such as finance, travel, transportation and communications. Since 1995, the company has developed business solutions for SAP users as a partner of SAP Japan. With many companies still managing a large number of business processes manually, RPA is poised to improve productivity within the enterprise.
With the signing of this agreement, JIEC will deploy Kofax Kapow™ RPA software and the Kofax TotalAgility® platform to improve efficiency by reducing manual input in SAP operations such as purchase management.
Kapow automates and digitally transforms a wide range of human and information intensive processes across front and back office operations. It allows users to develop and deploy smart robots that mimic human actions while driving continuous improvement using AI and machine learning. Kapow robots interact seamlessly across desktop software, traditional enterprise and browser based systems and web sites, aggregating data, transforming it into actionable information, triggering responses, and communicating with other applications.
By digitizing critical touchpoints—such as onboarding new policy holders, processing insurance claims and provisioning services—the TotalAgility platform helps accelerate customer journeys to a positive outcome, delivering a frictionless experience and increased loyalty. TotalAgility includes a fast-to-deploy set of capabilities, including omnichannel information capture, business process automation, robotic process automation, analytics, customer communications management and e-signatures.
"The Kofax platform is ideally suited to meet the increasing demand for more efficient process automation. We're committed to offering technologies such as RPA, AI and deep learning, driving broad digital transformation throughout the Asia-Pacific region," said Reynolds C. Bish, Chief Executive Officer of Kofax. "Our JIEC partnership speaks to this commitment, particularly for SAP related solutions, where JIEC is focused and renowned for its expertise."
"We are extremely pleased to announce the signing of a sales partner agreement with Kofax," said Atsushi Innami, President and Representative Director of JIEC. "By combining Kofax's RPA solutions with the know-how that we have developed in SAP-related business, we will pursue business opportunities in Intelligent Process Automation."
