Hot Topic in Orlando: Get your RPA Implementation Right!

During the Magic Quadrant for Robotic Process Automation session, one major theme emerged: getting your RPA implementation right. You need a strong strategy and tracking system in place.

Do you know the three must-haves for your RPA solution? Make sure it:

  1. Doesn’t require coding or developers
  2. Is scalable and flexible
  3. Can extract and use data from multiple sources

Session Recap: Using AI and Automation, Enhancing Document Heavy Processes

On October 23, 2019, our Chief Strategy Officer Chris Huff led a panel discussion exploring the benefits of using intelligent automation to reduce friction and manual touch-points from document-heavy processes. Chris was joined by three Kofax customers: Diana Rudha, Senior Manager of Automation at Coyote Logistics, David Friedman, Director of Intelligent Automation at Ryder System, and Nathaniel Palmer, Director of Solution Architecture at Serco.

Session Recap: Using AI and Automation, Enhancing Document Heavy Processes

Chris asked the panel: How do you make sense of the technology options available today to drive digital transformation? The answers ranged from extending RPA with AI and analytics to make smarter robots capable of pricing and scheduling 10,000 shipments a day, to using cognitive capture, machine learning and RPA to assemble massive amounts of data to improve case management. Establishing governance and management practices was also highlighted as key to scaling intelligent automation across an enterprise.

One thing was clear after the panel discussion was over – it takes more than just rules-based RPA to create full-scale digital transformation. And when the customer experience matters more than ever, intelligent automation helps take unstructured data, even from document-heavy processes, and makes it usable across a variety of use cases.
