Course Duration: 5 Days - 8:30-4:30 Monday through Thursday and 8:30-2:00 Friday
This course is intended for experienced technical professionals who are
participating in the design, implementation, and support of component-based
document imaging and forms processing solutions using Kofax Capture. This
course is also appropriate for consultants engaged in related solution
customization and development.
This intensive hands-on course is designed to provide a thorough and
complete understanding of the Kofax Capture product, its functionality,
configuration, integration, and customizability. Passing a final examination
with a score of 80% or higher results in certification as an Kofax
Capture Technical Solutions Specialist.
During this course, the attendee will become familiar with installing
and configuring Kofax Capture, batch class setup, operations
and integrating Kofax Capture with other document and data management
solutions.
At class completion
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe and understand the capture process
- Install and configure Kofax Capture
- Confidently demonstrate Kofax Capture to their customers
or other end users
- Be able to use the functions, capabilities, and features of
Kofax Capture
- Upgrade previous versions of Kofax Capture to the current
version
- Be able to demonstrate the administration and operation of
Kofax Capture
- Be able to pass a certification examination with a score of
80% or better
Prerequisites
To maximize your learning experience, interested students should
have the following prerequisites:
- Understanding of the Windows 32-bit environment and its GUI
conventions (2000, XP or Server 2003)
- Working knowledge of Client/Server
- Experience using Windows-based applications (eg. Microsoft
Office Suite)
