• Updates
  • When updating the firmware or scanner driver, the LED on the front panel of the Document Scan Server blinks to provide a visual cue that the update is in progress.
  • A restart of the Document Scan Server is no longer required when updating or removing a scanner driver, or updating the Hardware Default Page (visible when resetting the Document Scan Server). A restart is still required when updating the firmware

• The Document Scan Server v1.21.024 release is a firmware update which fixes an issue in the v1.21.023 firmware that caused the Document Scan Server's Management Console unable to refresh a DSS device when it was set to a static IP address.

• RGB Drop Out can be set via custom profiles.
• DSS supported scanners can be hotplugged into either USB port.
• During bootup, DSS will advertise its IP address when set to static. You may view the IP address with DSSDiscover.
• The Hardware Default Firmware Page now displays the normal bootup network settings for DSS.
• Image Destination field now requires a FQDN when Network Settings are set to Static.
