Description
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This release of the VisioneerXerox_xpdmseries scanner driver provides support
for the Xerox DocuMate 152 scanner with the Document Scan Server.


Known Issues with the Xerox DocuMate 152 Driver
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Duplex scanning in grayscale or color mode may perform significantly slower
  that the rated speed for the scanner. (SPR00029219)
- Back-only scanning in grayscale or color mode results in an image designated
  as "front" instead of "back," as follows: 
  - The image header XML element Side contains the value "Front" instead of
    "Back".
  - The name for the image file saved at the image destination contains the
    designation for front (F) instead of back (B).

- When scanning with the resolution set to 600 dpi and the quality set to Low,
  the Document Scan Server displays a "no memory available" message, and the 
  scanned image is not written to a file. (SPR00031048)


Note
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If the user changes the DSS scan profile, remove any existing documents 
from the ADF and then reinsert before proceeding with scanning.


As a Feature of Your Xerox DocuMate 152 Scanner
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The scanner clears any remaining documents in the ADF following a single scan
(or, if developed as part of your scan-enabled application, following a 
predefined number of scans).
