The Document Scan Server 1.00.x product was released on 07/07/06. It was the first release of the Document Scan Server product. This release contained the following Document Scan Server modules.

      • Updates
        • When updating the firmware or scanner driver, the LED on the front panel of the Kofax Document Scan Server blinks to provide a visual cue that the update is in progress.
        • A restart of the Kofax Document Scan Server is no longer required when updating or removing a scanner driver, or updating the Hardware Default Page (visible when resetting the Kofax Document Scan Server). A restart is still required when updating the firmware.

        • The log records more activities that have occurred with the Kofax Document Scan Server.
