Adrenaline Hardware Runtime Notes

  • The AHRT 3.65B runtime will successfully install over an existing VRS installation. VRS will not function if AHRT 3.65B runtime  is installed first. With the VRS Runtime installed over the AHRT 3.65B runtime, you will need to completely uninstall and reinstall VRS first, followed by the AHRT 3.65B runtime.
  • Basic Ascent 5.0 testing (including Scan, Forms Processing, Full Text OCR, Index, Release, Admin, Page Level Barcode, Patch Code, Zonal OCR, Zonal Barcode, and Kodak Image Address) was done with scanners from every scanner family. No new problems were found.
  • New barcode features are available for all Adrenaline Hardware controllers purchased after May 1, 2001. Contact Kofax Technical  support for additional information if Enhanced Barcodes are not available  on the barcode dialog for your Adrenaline Controllers purchased after May 1,2001.  An upgrade dongle is available for purchase for Adrenaline Hardware Controllers purchased before May 1, 2001.
