08/21/07	Service Pack 3 for Ascent Advanced Forms 3.8 SR01 Validation Module Note that there are two Service Packs: Service Pack 3 for the Extraction module and Service Pack 3 for the Validation module. If you use both modules and want to install the Service Packs, you must download the Service Packs and run their separate installations. In addition, Ascent Advanced Forms Validation 3.8 must be installed before you install the Service Packs. If you attempt to install the Service Packs without the required version of Ascent Advanced Forms, the Service Pack installation will not complete successfully. Download the self-extracting zip file and unzip it to a folder of your choice (note, if no folder is selected, the files will be unzipped to the User's TEMP= folder. Double-click the InstallServicePack.exe and click Install Service Pack. The logged-in user must have full administrative privileges to the local computer. NOTE: Backups of validated data generated prior to Service Pack 2 cannot be imported after installing Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3. 08/21/07	Service Pack 3 for Ascent Advanced Forms 3.8 SR01 Extraction Module Starting with Service Pack 3, Ascent Advanced Forms Extraction requires that .NET Framework 2.0 be installed on your system before you install the Service Pack. You'll find both an English and German version of .NET Framework 2.0 in the dotnetfx folder. Note that there are two Service Packs: Service Pack 3 for the Extraction module and Service Pack 3 for the Validation module. In addition, Ascent Advanced Forms Extraction module must be installed before you install the Service Packs. Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Advanced Forms Support

The Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Technical Support group is comprised of three subgroups (discussed on the Support Options Web page), whose members are knowledgeable in all aspects of the Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture product and Kofax / Ascent modules, including installation, configuration, operation and development. Each group receives ongoing product training from our Engineering department relating to the general Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture product and their specific area of expertise. These groups have in depth knowledge of networking, databases, hardware, and programming which they use when assisting all supported Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture customers.

The Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Advanced Forms product's Technical Support group can assist with problems related to INDICIUS, Ascent Advanced Forms, Ascent for Invoices, Ascent for Health Insurance, and Ascent Xtrata Pro. They are trained on these Kofax created Ascent modules which are designed to expand on the basic Ascent Capture application.
