• Ascent Capture Custom Module Registration Enhancements

  Registration of the Ascent Advanced Forms Validation module no longer requires that the user manually copy files to the Ascent Capture Bin folder. The installation automatically performs the necessary file operations for all installation types.

• US Invoice Totals

  The new US Invoice Totals index field that was introduced in SP3 for Extraction SR01 is now also supported in the Validation module.

• AutoSave
  
  The AutoSave feature can be added through Visual Basic scripts or as an add-in to back up Validation data for a batch.

• Two files in the common files folder were occasionally missing after installation. As a result, the toolbar options related to the Single Click Entry feature were not available.

• Invoice Option Extended
  • The Invoice option now allows the reading of header data and line items of invoices from Sweden. It has been optimized for invoices from Switzerland and Italy.
• Invoice Vendor Field Extended
  • The Invoice Vendor field and US Invoice Vendor field now show a new property named OutputMultipleVendorRecords.
• Invoice Vendor Field Supports Additional Database Columns
  • The Invoice Vendor field supports the following new database columns: ACN (Australian Company Number), EMAIL (email address), FAX (fax number), IBAN (International Bank Account Number), and WWW (Web site).
  • The US Invoice Vendor field supports the following new database columns: EMAIL (email address) and WWW (Web site).
• New ItemDescription Column for Invoice Items Fields
  • The Invoice Items field, US Invoice Items field, Invoice Items Custom field, and US Invoice Items Custom field now return an additional column named ItemDescription.
• Parameterization of Invoice Items Custom Fields Extended
  • The Invoice Items Custom field and US Invoice Items Custom field have been extended to allow the addition of new user-defined columns and the modification of existing columns.
• New Goto Setup Command
  • The context menus of nodes in the Result register now contain a new command named Goto Setup. This command automatically selects the corresponding node in the Classes register, the Types register, or the Globals register, respectively.
• Invoice Vendor Field Optimized
  • The Invoice Vendor field now reduces substitutions by taking the VAT-IDs of all European countries into account.
• Additional Formats for Amount Field
  • The Amount field now shows a new property named InputFormat. The format ".23" searches amount values starting with dot or comma without a leading zero, the format "1.23" searches for all standard amount values that were already supported by the Amount field, and the format "1:23" searches for amounts which have a colon as the decimal separator. The formats can be combined. The Invoice Totals field uses this new feature and this also supports amounts with a leading dot or comma
• Demonstration Software Optimized
  • The demonstration software has been optimized. If DDSDemo is installed, the service pack installs patches and a new DDSDemo3 icon on the desktop. If the demonstration software is started using this icon, it runs in optimized mode.

• Service Pack 2 for the Extraction module resolves the following problems.
• When the Text field is used as Table column, the property NumberOfResultLines does not take effect. Therefore, the property is no longer shown in this case.
• On documents containing bar codes, the InvoiceNumber field sometimes consumed excessive CPU usage and memory.
• An ampersand was not shown correctly in the PhraseList dialog box.
• The error “Can't read "(some text from data base file)": no such variable” could occur if the data base file of an Invoice Vendor or US Invoice Vendor field contained one or more dollar signs.
• An incorrect currency value was sometimes used in the TotalAmount sub-result of the InvoiceTotals result.
• The FirstOf feature did not allow addition of the Logo, ImageSize, or DetectEmptyPage features via the Paste function.
• A field name containing spaces could cause a crash. (SPR16331)
• Use of the string “Page” for the field name could cause a crash.

• NextSubField in the OnSubfieldDeactivatingevent function is now set correctly. (SPR 12317)
• The OnFieldDeactivatingevent function's NextField argument is now set correctly when another field is activated. (SPR 12509)
• The MouseUp events are no longer missing for the service SourceCtrl.
• If you have too many characters in a table, you will receive an error message. When you double-click on the OK button to dismiss this message, you will no longer receive several messages.
• The Display property in the Presentation service now works correctly.
• When entering data into a table cell while the second page of a document is shown, Validation will no longer display the first page after the second page.
• Validation_AC Table Auto Complete now fills in the correct data. (SPR 14220)
• During Table Auto-Completion, a selected table cell will now display the correct value.
• After rows have been deleted in a table, Validation will not highlight the remaining rows in the table.
• When you use the Single-Click Entry to capture data and then delete that data, Validation will now completely remove the deleted data.
• When a field is selected while the "Multi-select on demand" option is turned off, the field is no longer shown after switching to another image.
• Table Auto-Completion will now extract the correct text for an ItemText column.
  When you delete a table cell on the second page of a document, Validation will no longer automatically switch to the first page.
• The Field state filter now works correctly. (SPR 13843)
  Navigation with the Tab key now works correctly when you specify the field state filter.
• Table Auto-Completion command will no longer fail Validation. (SPR 13847)
• After switching from a page that is using the Single-Click Entry with the Zoom-in pointer to a page that does not use the Single-Click Entry, you will no longer see the Zoom-in pointer.
• Ascent Capture required fields property works correctly. (SPR 13844)
• Single Click Entry" now works for all pages of a document that contains one or more pages that do not have full-page recognition data.
• When using the OnCommandUpdate event in VBA scripting, the CPU usage for Validation will display correctly.
• The Undo Table Auto-Completion command is no longer enabled for a table that was not populated using the Table Auto-Completion function.
• The ToolTips now work correctly.
• The ampersand (&) character no longer displays with the underscore (_) character in the tables.
• When Tab or Return is used to leave the last field of a document, focus is now correctly set to the first field of the next document.
• Validation no longer fails when the "Undo Table AutoCompletion" command is used after a table filled via "Table Auto-Completion" is loaded.
• Alternative results are now available when using the notation "field/element" to access sub-fields of the complex Advanced Forms fields.
• The Invoice Items table columns will now display when using the InvoiceItems field as a sub-field for the FirstOf field.
  Partial release in Ascent Capture is now processed correctly by Validation when it is preceded by automatic validation.
• When you install the automatic Validation workstation as a service and you enable user profiles, the service will now start processing batches.

• It is now possible to link the global Table field more than once and the "Show Result as HTML" command in the context menu will work.
• The RemoveLinesAndInverseText image processing function will now detect areas with inverse text.
• The Regular Expression field does not require additional brackets for special expressions with alternatives.
• The Advanced Forms (Custom module) will now show the installed service pack. (SPR 11636)
• The asterisk (*) character is no longer interpreted as the dollar sign ($) character in the InvoiceTotals field.
• The Table field no longer includes results that only intersected the table search area.
• When the Table field with the HorizontalPositionActive function is set to enabled for a column that used a value field for the KeyValue field, the HorizontalPosition property is now applied correctly.
• The changed value of the Confidence property of the Font sub-node for the OcrParams node is now applied correctly. A character with lower confidence value is now rejected. (SPR 13639)
• The extension of the Orientation image processing function is now compatible. You can now open and save the Orientation image processing function in version 3.7, and then open this function in version 3.6.
• Using an ampersand (&) character in the file name will now display correctly in the XML result file.
• The caret (^) character is no longer accepted at illegal positions and will no longer cause Extraction to fail.
• When you use the Patch Code field, you will now longer receive a bar code error message on a page with a horizontal black bar.
• When the Table field with the HorizontalPositionActive function is set to enabled for a column that used a value field for the KeyValue field, the HorizontalPosition property is now applied correctly.
• The HeaderWordList now shows the HeaderWordList on the ItemState and ItemType columns for USInvoiceItemsCustom field.
• The demonstration software for the Invoice Items result no longer includes erroneous lines for the total amounts. For this fix service pack 1 for Advanced Forms Validation must also be installed.
• The values in the ItemDiscount column from the InvoiceItems field are now formatted the same way as amount values. Amount values are formatted with four decimal places and a trailing percent sign (for example, 3.0000%).
• You can now use the FuzzyDb field without the program failing.
• The demonstration software will now display the results when the project path contains an ampersand (&) character.
  The Estonia language setting could not recognize characters due to a wrong classifier and character set. This bug has been fixed.
• When elements of DOKuStar fields are used with the notation "field/element" in a configuration with two extraction stages, you will no longer receive an error message about slashes in the attribute file. (SPR 14871)
• The result format of the FuzzyDb for alternatives differed from the other DokuStar fields. The result format has been changed to the standard format. A registry switch is available that allows to create the old format for compatibility reasons.
  The RemoveLinesAndInverseText image processing function no longer inverts an image when the page has a black border.
