AAF 3.8 Service Release 01 Service Pack 3 for the Validation Module and 3.8 Service Release 01 Service pack 4 Extraction Module are the latest releases of the Ascent Advanced Forms product.
System requirements for the Ascent Advanced Forms 3.7x Validation and Extraction modules are given below. Where a higher derived requirement is necessary for Extraction it is given below.
| CPU: | Intel Pentium processor or compatible processor. At least a PC with 1 GHz is recommended. |
| RAM | At least 256 MB RAM are recommended. For testing with the Design Studio 512 MB or more are recommended. The swap space should be at least 512 MB. For for testing with the Design Studio 1 GB or more is recommended. |
| Disk Space | For installation 200 MB disk space is needed. |
| Operating Systems | Windows XP Professional with Service
Pack 2 Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 4 Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4 Windows 2003 Server |
You must run the higher of either the Ascent Advanced Forms 3.7 Validation and Extraction modules or the Ascent Capture release being used.

The Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Technical Support group is comprised of three subgroups (discussed on the Support Options Web page), whose members are knowledgeable in all aspects of the Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture product and Kofax / Ascent modules, including installation, configuration, operation and development. Each group receives ongoing product training from our Engineering department relating to the general Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture product and their specific area of expertise. These groups have in depth knowledge of networking, databases, hardware, and programming which they use when assisting all supported Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture customers.
The Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Advanced Forms product's Technical Support group can assist with problems related to INDICIUS, Ascent Advanced Forms, Ascent for Invoices, Ascent for Health Insurance, and Ascent Xtrata Pro. They are trained on these Kofax created Ascent modules which are designed to expand on the basic Ascent Capture application.
