Kofax Transformation Modules 5.0 Supported Configurations

Kofax Transformation Modules 5.5.2 (5.5 with Service Pack 2) is the latest release of the Kofax Transformation Modules product.

Please note: Prior to applying any Service Pack, Fix Pack, or Fix to your Kofax Transformation Modules 5.5 product, please be sure you have installed Kofax Transformation Modules 5.5.0 R2 or later . KTM 5.5.0 initial release installations cannot be upgraded with the current 5.5.1 Service Pack, Fix Packs, or Fixes. Refer to the Kofax Transformation Modules 5.5.0 R2 Product Information and Installation Instructions document for details.

System Requirements

This section lists the operating requirements for installing and using Kofax Transformation Modules 5.0.

Minimum Hardware Requirements

This section lists the hardware requirements for installing and using Kofax Transformation Modules, the certified operating systems, the certified versions of Kofax Capture and the required Direct X version.

Processor:	Pentium class 1.5 GHz processor
System memory:	512 MB
Disk space:	For a full install, you require 2 GB of free hard disk space Important: If you install Kofax Transformation Modules on a separate hard disk drive, you still require 1.5 GB on your C:\ hard disk drive, as several files are installed in the Common Files folder
Display:	1024 × 768 with 16-bit color, normal fonts (96 dpi)

Recommended Hardware Requirements

Project Builder and and the User Interactive Modules

This section lists the recommended hardware requirements for installing and using Project Builder and the user interactive modules (Correction, Document Review,Validation and Verification).

Processor:	Pentium class 2.0 GHz processor (dual core)
System memory:	2 GB
Disk space:	For a full install, you require 2 GB of free hard disk space Important: If you install Kofax Transformation Modules on a separate hard disk drive, you still require 1.5 GB on your C:\ hard disk drive, as several files are installed in the Common Files folder
Display:	1280 × 1024 with 24-bit color, normal fonts (96 dpi)

Server

This section lists the recommended hardware requirements for installing and using Server.

Processor:	Pentium class 2.0 GHz processor, 2-4 CPUs (quad core)
System memory:	2 GB per Server process
Disk space:	You require 2 GB of free hard disk space for the installation, as well as another 10 GB or more for images and other data required during processing
Operating System:	Windows Server 2003 (64-bit) or Windows Server 2008 (64-bit)
Display:	1024 × 768 with 24-bit color, normal fonts (96 dpi)

Tip: Disk space requirements vary depending on the number of projects set up with Kofax Transformation Modules. Kofax recommends that you monitor free disk space on your Kofax Capture server (for client/server installations) and your workstations that process documents using Kofax Transformation Modules.

Certified CPUs

The Kofax Transformation Modules - Server module supports multi-processor systems and parallel processing (parallelization) of computation tasks by using multi-core processor technology. Kofax Transformation Modules - Server is certified for use with up to sixteen CPUs.

Software Prerequisites

Kofax Transformation Modules requires the following software to be installed:

Runtime libraries for Visual C++ VS2008SP1
Windows Installer 3.1
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
Crystal Reports Basic Runtime
DirectX 9.0 c (April 2006) or later
All of these programs are included as part of the Kofax Transformation Modules.
