Kofax Transformation Modules 4.0 (KTM) Supported Configurations

Kofax Transformation Modules 5.5.2 (5.5 with Service Pack 2) is the latest release of the Kofax Transformation Modules product.

Please note: Prior to applying any Service Pack, Fix Pack, or Fix to your Kofax Transformation Modules 5.5 product, please be sure you have installed Kofax Transformation Modules 5.5.0 R2 or later . KTM 5.5.0 initial release installations cannot be upgraded with the current 5.5.1 Service Pack, Fix Packs, or Fixes. System Requirements

This section lists the operating requirements for installing and using Kofax Transformation Modules 4.0.

Minimum Hardware Requirements

This section lists the hardware requirements for installing and using Kofax Transformation Modules, the certified operating systems, the certified versions of Kofax Capture and the required Direct X version.

Processor: Pentium class 1.5 GHz processor
System memory: 512 MB
Disk space: 1 GB for the installation and enough space (approximately 1 GB) for the image files used for classification (for client/ server installations, on the corresponding drive of the server; for standalone installations, on the drive where Kofax Capture is installed).
Display: 1024 x 768 with 16-bit color, small fonts; 24-bit color is recommended for the best viewing.

 

Recommended Hardware Requirements

Project Builder and and the User Interactive Modules

This section lists the recommended hardware requirements for installing and using Project Builder and the user interactive modules (Correction, Document Review,Validation and Verification).

Processor: Pentium class 2.0 GHz processor (dual core)
System memory: 2 GB
Disk space: 1 GB for the installation and enough space (approximately 10 GB or more) for the image files used for classification (for client/server installations, on the corresponding drive of the server; for standalone installations, on the drive where Kofax Capture is installed)
Display: 1280 x 1024 with 24-bit color, normal fonts (96 dpi)

 

Server

This section lists the recommended hardware requirements for installing and using Server.

Processor: Pentium class 2.0 GHz processor, 2-4 CPUs (quad core)
System memory: 2 GB per Server process
Disk space: 1 GB for the installation and enough space (approximately10 GB or more) for the image files used for classification and online learning (for client/server installations, on the corresponding drive of the Server; for standalone installations, on the drive where Kofax Capture is installed)
Display: 1024 x 768 with 24-bit color, normal fonts (96 dpi)

Note Disk space requirements vary depending on the number of projects set up with Kofax Transformation Modules. Kofax recommends that you monitor free disk space on your Kofax Capture server (for client/server installations) and your workstations which process documents using Kofax Transformation Modules.

This matrix lists the versions of 3rd Party Software Platform components that are supported for use with Kofax products. Kofax is committed to ensuring that our products work with these component versions and addressing issues that arise when our products are used in conjunction with them. Unless otherwise specified, we do not support the use of our product in conjunction with versions of software other than those listed in the Kofax Cross Product Compatibility Matrix. Software Prerequisites

Kofax Transformation Modules requires the following software to be installed:

  • Runtime libraries for Visual C++ VS2008SP1
  • Windows Installer 3.1
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
  • Crystal Reports Basic Runtime
  • DirectX 9.0 c (April 2006) or higher

All of these programs are included as part of the Kofax Transformation Modules installation and are installed as required.

Kofax Transformation Products Support

The Technical Services groups which support the Kofax Transformation products can assist with problems related to Kofax Transformation Modules, Ascent Xtrata Pro and INDICIUS. They are trained on these Kofax created Kofax Transformation products which are designed to expand on basic Kofax applications.
