Ascent Xtrata Pro 3.1 Supported Configurations

Kofax Transformation Modules 5.5.2 (5.5 with Service Pack 2) is the latest release of the Kofax Transformation Modules product.

Please note: Prior to applying any Service Pack, Fix Pack, or Fix to your Kofax Transformation Modules 5.5 product, please be sure you have installed Kofax Transformation Modules 5.5.0 R2 or later . KTM 5.5.0 initial release installations cannot be upgraded with the current 5.5.1 Service Pack, Fix Packs, or Fixes. Ascent Xtrata Pro Operating Requirements

This section lists the operating requirements for installing and using Ascent Xtrata Pro.

Minimum Hardware Requirements

• Processor: Pentium class 1.5 GHz processor
• System memory: 512 Mbytes
• Disk space: 1 GB for the installation and enough space (approximately 1 GB) for the image files used for classification (for client/server installations, on the corresponding drive of the server; for standalone installations, on the drive where Ascent Capture is installed)
• Display: 1024 x 768 with 16-bit color, small fonts; 24-bit color is recommended for the best viewing.

Recommended Hardware Requirements for Project Builder and Validation

• Processor: Pentium class class 2.0 GHz processor (dual core)
• System memory: 2 GBytes
• Disk space: 1 GB for the installation and enough space (approximately 10 GB or more) for the image files used for classification (for client/server installations, on the corresponding drive of the server; for standalone installations, on the drive where Ascent Capture is installed)
• Display:1600 x1200 with 24-bit color, small fonts; 24-bit color is recommended for the best viewing.

Recommended Hardware Requirements for the Server

• Processor: Pentium class 2.0 GHz processor, 2-4 CPUs (dual core)
• System memory: 2 GBytes
• Disk space: 1 GB for the installation and enough space (approximately 10 GB or more) for the image files used for classification (for client/server installations, on the corresponding drive of the server; for standalone installations, on the drive where Ascent Capture is installed)
• Display: 1024 x 768 with 24-bit color, small fonts; 24-bit color is recommended for the best viewing.

  NOTE: Disk space requirements will vary, depending on the number of projects set up with Ascent Xtrata Pro. It is recommended that you monitor free disk space on your Ascent Capture server (for client/server installations) and your stations where you perform Ascent Xtrata Pro processing.

Ascent Xtrata Pro is certified on the following operating systems:

• Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 (English/German)
• Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 4 (English/German)
• Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4 (English/German)
• Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 and 2 (Standard and Enterprise editions) (English/German)
• The Ascent Xtrata Pro Validation Module is certified to work with Citrix Presentation Server 4.5
  when used with Ascent Capture 7.5 Service Pack 4.

Certified Versions of Ascent Capture

Ascent Xtrata Pro 3.1 Service Pack 2 has been certified for the following versions of Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture:

• Kofax Capture 8.0
  Note The product name has changed from Ascent Capture to Kofax Capture.
• Ascent Capture 7.0 SP3
• Ascent Capture 7.5 SP4

Ascent Xtrata Pro 3.0 and 3.0 SP1 are certified with the following versions of Ascent Capture:

• Ascent Capture 7.5 SP4

Direct X 9.0c

• Ascent Xtrata Pro requires Direct X 9.0 (April 2006) or higher. The required DirectX version is part of the installation routine.
