The INDICIUS 5.5.1 product was released on 03/31/08. At that time, it replaced INDICIUS 5.5 as the latest release of the INDICIUS product.

Windows Vista Support

INDICIUS attended production modules are now supported on Windows Vista.

Kofax Capture 8.0 Support

INDICIUS modules are now supported for use with Kofax Capture 8.0.

Batch Filtering

INDICIUS 5.5.1 introduces batch filtering behavior within the Document Review, Correction, Completion and Verification modules. Within each module, there is now a new Filter Batches menu item. Within this dialog, it is now possible to choose which published batch classes should be worked with, or to filter on a batch-level field as defined in ACConfig.xml.

Modifications

Image classification is now available for fixed-form solutions
Modifications have been made to simplify the process to create and distribute evaluation and temporary licenses.
INDICIUS evaluation licenses are in sync with Ascent Capture.
The requirement for the INDICIUS Bank Details Validation license has been removed.
The INDICIUS Statistics Reporter license has been removed.
The option of licensing using legacy HASP dongles has been removed.

PR021722 - KLM\Software\Kofax\Mohomine key has very restrictive permissions after installation
SPR022274 - Licence message on splash screen too long when a time limited INDICIUS license is being used
SPR022929 - Mirrors being handled with messageboxes can cause a hang when running Recognition or Scripted Export as Windows services

Definer

- SPR023249 - Definer - Help|Index.. dialog crashes the module
- SPR023476 - Default value for BOXSIZE is 0 but it appears as 30 in the Definer interface
- SPR023490 - 'Unable to deselect annotation ID <number>' when selecting fields in Definer when positions are locked
- SPR024175 - Add additional optional comma to 'Date' regular expressions to allow for US Date formats.
- SPR027587 - The Character Size dialog does not display an image when not on the first page.

Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Advanced Forms Support

The Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Technical Support group is comprised of three subgroups (discussed on the Support Options Web page), whose members are knowledgeable in all aspects of the Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture product and Kofax / Ascent modules, including installation, configuration, operation and development. Each group receives ongoing product training from our Engineering department relating to the general Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture product and their specific area of expertise. These groups have in depth knowledge of networking, databases, hardware, and programming which they use when assisting all supported Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture customers.

The Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Advanced Forms product's Technical Support group can assist with problems related to INDICIUS, Ascent Advanced Forms, Ascent for Invoices, Ascent for Health Insurance, and Ascent Xtrata Pro. They are trained on these Kofax created Ascent modules which are designed to expand on the basic Ascent Capture application.
