ImageControls Tutorial

This document describes how to develop an application using ImageControls 32-bit code and Visual C++ 5.0. It provides step-by-step instructions for incorporating ImageControls custom controls (OCXs) into a Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) library-based M/S Windows application. Also included is ScanApp, an executable version of the final application you will build. 

Building a Thumbnail Viewer

The ability to view thumbnail images within a viewing application is a desirable feature for any viewing application. This sample application shows how easy it is to create thumbnail views within your application using ImageControls. Thumb.zip contains all the project files required.

Kofax ImageControls Support

Kofax provides two types of support for all non-legacy Kofax ImageControls products, described below.

  • “No-Charge”
    “No-Charge” support consists of Web-Based support that includes the Kofax Knowledgebase and the Kofax Customer Portal for all non-legacy ImageControls product customers.
  • "Fee-Based"
    "Fee-Based" telephone support from Kofax is available for all non-legacy ImageControls product customers.
