1.1 Supported Configurations
Before you install Capio, make sure your computer meets the following hardware, operating system, scanner, and email program requirements.
So that Capio can be used to its maximum potential, both minimum and recommended hardware requirements are listed. Ensure that you meet at least the minimum requirements before attempting to install Capio. Using the recommended requirements will help to ensure the best performance.

Be sure to install your scanner according to the manufacturer's instructions. Prior to scanning in Capio, you should test your scanner as recommended by your scanner's manufacturer to be confirm the scanner is operating properly.
You can print Capio documents from your Capio library to any properly configured printer within the Capio user(s)' Windows operating system.
You can attach documents from your Capio library to an email message, as long as the email program is installed on the same computer as the Capio user(s). Capio is certified to work with the following email programs:
