Capio 1.52 is the most recent release of the Capio product.

Capio 1.52 History

The Capio version 1.52 product is the latest release which became available on 12/22/05. It replaces the Capio 1.51 release.

Capio 1.52 can be installed new or directly over the Capio 1.51 or 1.5 product. If you have the Capio 1.1 product installed, you must uninstall your older version and then install Capio 1.52.

Capio 1.52 is localized in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish languages.

Installing or upgrading Capio for your enterprise is now more flexible than ever.

Resolved Capio 1.52 Problems

The following problems were resolved in Capio 1.52 and apply to all Capio users:

With Capio 1.5, performance was slow while a large number of files were being added to or deleted from the Inbox. This performance has been improved. (SPR 16921)
With Capio 1.5, if you did not have sufficient rights to view some of the subfolders of the Inbox, all subsequent subfolders would not display regardless of rights. With Capio 1.51, folders to which you do not have sufficient rights are skipped, while all other folders are displayed. (SPR 17129)

Capio 1.51 History

The Capio version 1.51 product release became available on 09/20/05. It replaces the Capio 1.5 release and is intended to be installed directly over the Capio 1.5 or Capio 1.1 product.

Capio 1.51 is localized in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish languages.

Resolved Capio 1.5 Problems

The following problems were resolved in Capio 1.51 and apply to all Capio users:

Which apply to Capio with Ascent Capture

The following problems were resolved in Capio 1.51 and apply to Capio with Ascent Capture users:

Capio 1.5 would display an error when moving documents from the Inbox to a document class form type where the document class had no index fields defined. Capio 1.51 can now accept documents when the document class does not have defined index fields. (SPR 17804)
Capio 1.5 incorrectly handled OCR index fields. When the documents uploaded from Capio were processed in Recognition Server, no OCR occurred for those fields. With Capio 1.51, OCR index fields are handled correctly, allowing Recognition Server to perform OCR on the index fields. (SPR 17113)
Capio 1.5 allowed documents with invalid index field data to be sent to the central site. With Capio 1.51, documents with invalid index fields will be marked as rejected and prohibited from being sent. (SPR 17234)
