Supported Hardware and Software3rd Party Software Platform ComponentsPlease refer to the Kofax Cross Product Compatibility Matrix for 3rd Party Software Platform Components for this product (select the desired matrix format below). Kofax is committed to ensuring that our products work with these component versions and addressing issues that arise when our products are used in conjunction with them. Unless otherwise specified, we do not support the use of our product in conjunction with versions of software other than those listed in the Kofax Cross Product Compatibility Matrix. Certified ScannersKofax Express is certified with a wide range of industry-standard scanners, and new scanners are certified on a regular basis in the following license categories:
For the most current list of Kofax Express 2.0 certified scanners, visit the Kofax Scanner Configurator. You can download Kofax Scanner Component Installers with drivers for supported scanners from the Support pages. OCR Language SupportYour Kofax Express installation includes OCR language support for English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. If you require OCR support for other languages, use the Kofax Express - OCR Language Support installer, which is included with the other product files. You must complete the Kofax Express installation before running the supplemental OCR Language Support installer. Image StorageBy default, Kofax Express stores images in the common application data folder within the Documents and Settings folder (or the ProgramData folder on a Windows Vista computer). Be sure to reserve sufficient disk space for scanned images. You can use the Job Setup tab in Kofax Express to set the batch path to the appropriate folder. Kofax Express SupportSupport for the Kofax Express product is provided via the Kofax Customer Portal and by telephone. Click here to move to the Kofax Customer Portal login page. The Kofax Express Support group is comprised of a group (discussed on the Support Options Web page), whose members are knowledgeable in all aspects of the Kofax Express product, including installation, configuration, and operation. This group receives ongoing product training from our Engineering department relating to the general Kofax Express product and their specific areas of expertise.
