Scan-to-Archive Document Capture for High-Speed, High-Volume Batch Scanning
Able to handle both low- and high-volume processing needs, Kofax Express delivers a featureset essential for basic batch scanning functionality such as document capture, indexing and archiving. The application provides a practical tool that combines with high-performance document scanners to enable small and medium businesses, services bureaus, Microsoft Sharepoint users and others to effectively implement baseline electronic document management systems.
Offering an intuitive user interface compatible with Microsoft Office 2007, Kofax Express provides basic capture and archival functionality, including features such as real-time image viewing, automatic indexing with bar codes, "key from image" processing, single-click rescan, flexible release scripts and more. The application also seamlessly integrates scanning with embedded VirtualReScan (VRS) from Kofax, the de facto standard for scanning productivity that dramatically improves image quality, making even difficult-to-read or damaged documents legible.
