Storage Management for MO/WORM and DVD-RAM
With its Version 4.1, Pegasus is presenting a completely newly developed management software for Windows 2000 and Windows NT which meets the current standards. With many years of experience in the area of data archiving and on the basis of its close collaboration with hardware manufacturers such as HP and Plasmon, the company has been able to develop many new functions to simplify administration, enhance performance, and ultimately improve return on investment (ROI) for a complete archiving or storage solution.

The strategic partnership between Pegasus and Veritas has led, through the combination of InveStore 4 and Veritas Storage Migrator, to the creation of an even more powerful storage management solution. This combination provides HSM functionality and data mirroring with InveStore 4.

InveStore 4.1 supports almost all MO jukeboxes and the most common DVD and CD jukeboxes produced by leading manufacturers such as HP, Plasmon, ASM, etc. An innovation is the integration of DVD-RAM based jukeboxes.
