      The Kofax Capture 8.0 Service Pack 2 product was released on 11/03/08. At that time, it replaced the Kofax Capture 8.0 Service Pack 1 product release as the latest release of the Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture product line.
    • KC 8.0 Service Pack 1
      The Kofax Capture 8.0 Service Pack 1 product was released on 08/19/08. At that time, it replaced the Kofax Capture 8.0 product release as the latest release of the Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture product line.
    • KC 8.0
      The Kofax Capture 8.0 product was released on 04/16/08. At that time, it replaced the Ascent Capture 7.5 Service Pack 6 product release as the latest release of the Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture product line.

      The Ascent Capture 7.5 Service Pack 5 product was released on 11/01/07. At that time, it replaced the Ascent Capture 7.5 Service Pack 4 product release as the latest release of the Ascent Capture product.

      The Ascent Capture 7.5 Service Pack 3 product was released on 04/03/07. At that time, it replaced the Ascent Capture 7.5 Service Pack 2 product release as the latest release of the Ascent Capture product.

      The Ascent Capture 7.5 Service Pack 2 product was released on 01/03/07. At that time, it replaced the Ascent Capture 7.5 Service Pack 1 product release as the latest release of the Ascent Capture product.

      The Ascent Capture 7.0 Service Pack 3 product was released on 06/30/06. At that time, it replaced the Ascent Capture 7.0 Service Pack 2 product release as the latest release of the Ascent Capture product. The Ascent Capture 7.0 Service Pack 3 is a cumulative package and contains all features and problem resolutions from the Ascent Capture 7.0 Service Pack 2.
    • AC 7.0 Service Pack 2
      The Ascent Capture 7.0 Service Pack 2 product was released on 04/01/06. At that time, it replaced the Ascent Capture 7.0 Service Pack 1 product release as the latest release of the Ascent Capture product. The Ascent Capture 7.0 Service Pack 2 is a cumulative package and contains all features and problem resolutions from the Ascent Capture 7.0 Service Pack 1.
    • AC 7.0 Service Pack 1
      The Ascent Capture 7.0 Service Pack 1 product was released on 12/06/05. At that time, it replaced the Ascent Capture 7.0 product release as the latest release of the Ascent Capture product.
    • AC 7.0
      The Ascent Capture 7.0 product was released on 06/17/05. This general release replaced the Ascent Capture 6.1 product as the latest release of the Ascent Capture product.

Legacy Ascent Capture Releases

NOTE: Support for the Ascent Capture 6 products ended on 07/31/08. The Ascent Capture 6 product Web pages will continue to be available until 07/31/09.

    • AC 6.1
      The Ascent Capture 6.1 product was released on 02/17/04. It was a maintenance release to the Ascent Capture 6.0 product and replaced 6.0 as the latest release of the Ascent Capture product.
    • AC 6.0
      The Ascent Capture 6.0 product was released on 07/10/03. This general release replaced the Ascent Capture 5.5 product as the latest release of the Ascent Capture product.

Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Support

The Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Technical Support group is comprised of three subgroups (discussed on the Support Options Web page), whose members are knowledgeable in all aspects of the Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture product and Kofax / Ascent modules, including installation, configuration, operation and development. Each group receives ongoing product training from our Engineering department relating to the general Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture product and their specific area of expertise. These groups have in depth knowledge of networking, databases, hardware, and programming which they use when assisting all supported Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture customers.

The Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Installation, Configuration, Operation, and Web product's Technical Support group can assist with installation and configuration of the base Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture products as well as troubleshooting problems that occur in production.  They have lots of experience with installation problems, batch class setup, patch code and bar code problems, hardware key issues, OCR engines, MSDE etc. They provide support for the Ascent Xtrata and Kofax Capture Import Connector - Fax / Ascent Fax products. They also can assist with the Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture Web products such as the Kofax Capture Network Server / Ascent Capture Internet Server and the Kofax Capture Import Connector - Web Services / Ascent Collection Server.  They can assist with installation or connectivity problems across LANs, WANs or the Internet.
