(VRS) DownloadsVRS 4.2 is the most recent release of the VirtualReScan (VRS) product.
The location of the VirtualReScan product downloads depends upon the type of VRS release used by the scanner. If the scanner uses a current non-OEM release of VRS, then the product downloads are provided by Kofax Technical Support via the Kofax Web site. If the scanner uses a partner's OEM release of VRS, then support, including product downloads, is provided by the scanner manufacturer.

Though the following VRS products are no longer supported, the support Web pages will continue to be available.
VRS 3.5 is the only release of VRS 3.x that is currently supported by Kofax Technical Support.
If you are currently using a registered copy of VRS 3.0, VRS 3.05, or VRS 3.1, you can upgrade your VRS product to VRS 3.5 at no charge. The VRS 3.5 program can be downloaded from VRS 3.5 Downloads page.
Kofax does not distribute the VRS OEM software for its OEM partners. Product downloads, like first level support, are provided by the scanner manufacturer for all VRS OEM products. Please contact your VRS scanner manufacturer directly to obtain the OEM version of VRS that applies to your VRS scanner. You might also want to check your VRS scanner manufacturer's Web site to locate any updated VRS OEM related scanner runtime updates, drivers or other related files
